I am a Lecturer and Vice-Director of Undergraduate Studies in the Economics Department at Brown University. I hold a PhD in Economics from Boston University and a BA in Behavioral Economics and Public Policy from the Gallatin School of Individualized Study at New York University.
Teaching is my passion, and what I'm currently focused on. Every semester I teach Essential Mathematics for Economics, an undergrad course; I also teach the first year math course for Econ PhD students every fall. I have done research in the past, and may again in the future; my interests are in behavioral economics, decision theory, health economics, and industrial organization. My wife and I have lived in Providence since 2013, and love it here. I'm a huge fan of rock music, and I have two cats, Jane and Eliza.
